Meet your personal connection to the Jewish homeland.
I decided to become a Shlicha,
an emissary, because I believe in the power of cultural exchange.
It was important to me that I would be able to bring my culture, the culture of our homeland, to a new environment like Cincinnati, Ohio. The Israel Fellow program gives me the opportunity to show American students — whether or not they’re Jewish — the vibrant culture and history of Israel.
But the relationship doesn’t just work in one direction.
When I return home, I bring the Jewish diaspora with me, strengthening the bond between our countries.
